| Gediminas Beresnevicius. Born in 1957 in
Telsiai, Lithuania. Graduated from the Department of Physics at Vilnius University with a degree in Astrophysics.
He currently works at the Technical Creativity Palace for Young People as a manager of the Astronomy Lab. Gediminas founded the Vilnius science fiction club Dorado in 1979, and has remained its president until the present time. He organises all the club's activities, such as seminars at the Vilnius Planetarium (lectures, discussions, meetings etc.), founded the club's SF library; was SF columnist of the Komjaunimo tiesa (The Comsomol Thruth) newspaper from 1981 through 1984, organised two annual literary competitions Dorado and Visata ir zmogus (Universe and Man) from 1981 until mid-to-late nineties. He is the initiator and organiser of the Lituanicons (Lithuanian SF conventions) in Kaunas in 1990, 1991 and 1992, and the main organiser of Lituanicons in Vilnius 1994, 1995, 1996, 1998 and 2000, Baltcons of 1994, 1996 and 1998, and the Eurocon in 1996. He has also organised tornaments of table games. Gediminas is also a co-editor and publisher (with Romas Buivydas) of the fanzine InfoSFera from 1989, and The Contact from 1990-1995. He published two Lithuanian SF fandom directories in 1991 and 1993. He helps to select books to be published in the book series Pasaulines fantastikos Aukso fondas (The Gold Treasury of World SF), a series of books by foreign SF/F authors published in Lithuanian. He selected and edited stories for several Lithuanian SF anthologies: Turangitas, 1988, Sviecianti strele (The Shining Arrow), 1996, Geriausia Lietuvos fantastika (The Best of Lithuanian SF) 1997, 1998 and 1999. He contributed more than 20 articles on SF and fandom to several magazines. His articles about Lithuanian SF were published in French in Antares magazine (editor Jean-Pierre Moumon) in 1991, issues 37 and 38, and in The Encylopedia of Fantasy (editor John Clute, unknown publishing date). Elze Hamilton (also known as Elze Surgailyte). Born on June 10th, 1970 in Vilnius. She has a BS in Applied Mathematics from Vilnius
University and an MS in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University, Indiana, US. However, her true interest has
always been mathematics and programming. After graduation she started working for a software company in Dallas,
Texas, US, as a software developer. She has been a member of the Vilnius science fiction club Dorado since 1992. She is one of the co-publishers of the Dorado Raganos (Witches of Dorado) fanzine. Her stories have appeared in the Alien Contact magazine (Germany), and Lithuanian SF and fantasy story anthologies Sviecianti strele (The Shining Arrow), 1997, The Traveller, 1996 and The Best of Lithuanian Science Fiction and Fantasy, 1997. Arnoldas Kalnikas. Born in 1970 in Viesvienai, in the Telsiai district, Lithuania. Founded the SF club Fajetai (The Phaetonians) and has been the club's president until the present time. His speciality is drawing maps of science fiction and fantasy worlds. He publishes the SF and Fantasy fanzines Vilties daigas (Sprout of Hope) and Denebolos sviesa (Denebola's Light). His works have been published in the Lithuanian SF anthologies Sviecianti strele" (The Shining Arrow), 1996, and The Traveller in 1996. |

Diana Lenceviciene (also known as Diana Butkiene).
Was born in Vilnius in 1966. Graduated from the Vilnius Pedagogic University with a major in Lithuanian Language
and Literature. Worked as a teacher, as an editor and journalist of a daily newspaper Lietuvos Aidas (The Echo
of Lithuania). Afterwards became a technical editor at the Lithuanian Standards Department. Finally, with yet
another change, moved to the US, State of Massachusets. Member of the Vilnius science fiction club Dorado since 1990, and one of the three co-publishers of the SF fanzine Dorado Raganos (The Witches of Dorado). Her short stories have been published in Lithuanian SF anthologies Sviecianti strele (The Shining Arrow), 1996 and Geriausia Lietuvos fantastika (The Best of Lithuanian SF and Fantasy) 1997 (the first place), 1998, 1999. Margarita Luzyte. Born in 1959 in the Birzai district.
Studied Russian language and literature at the Pedagogical Institute of Siauliai. Currently she lives and works
as a Russian language schoolteacher in Pasvalys. She is the head of the children's SF club Fantaziukai (The Little Fanthasizers). Her works have been published in the anthologies Krintantis lapas (Falling Leaf), Mes esame Siaures krasto (We Are From the North), the newspaper Panevezio rytas (The Panevezys Morning news), in the Lithuanian SF anthologies Sviecianti strele (The Shining Arrow), 1996, Geriausia Lietuvos fantastika (The Best of Lithuanian SF) 1997, 1998, and The Traveller in 1996. She has published a short story collection Karaliavimai (Kingship) in 1999 and Zingsneliai (Small Steps) in 2003. |

Audrone Vodzinskaite-Stadje. Born in
1957 in Utena, but lived all her life in Vinius. Librarian, because from childhood she liked to read, sort and
number books etc. During her career as a librarian she climbed all the career ladders possible, except for becoming
manager of a large library. She moved to Stockhom, Sweden in 1995 and is presently learning Swedish, typesetting
and web design, and how to raise children. She is one of the co-publishers of Dorado Raganos (Witches of Dorado) fanzine, and the sole manager of this web site. She has been a member of the Vilnius science fiction club Dorado since 1990. She mostly likes reading books at nighttime, in bed, and then sleep as long as possible in the morning. Justinas Zilinskas. Born January 3, 1974 in Vilnius.
After earning his Ph.D. he now works as a lawyer. Hobbies: creative work, music, computers, travelling. Member of the Vilnius science fiction club Dorado from autumn 1998. Member of editorial board of Dorado Raganos from 1999.
